Tea Making Tips, 6 Golden Rules



  1. Always buy a good quality tea (it goes further)
  2. Fresh water for boiling every time (the water is then oxygenated)
  3. Bring water to the boil, but do not over boil
  4. Warm the teapot first, bring the teapot to the kettle
  5. Put in enough tea for size of pot or quantity of water
  6. Steep for 3 to 5 minutes (this video says up to 10 minutes, but that would have to be a very large pot, or they must have liked their tea a lot stronger back then)
